Badhakopir Payesh Recipe | Cabbage Kheer Recipe
In bengali traition payesh mean's positive vibes. In every celebration we made payesh. Chaler (rice) payesh is most popular among us.
But did you ever taste badhakopir / bandakopir (cabbage). Just, try it once. You will love it.
INGREDIENTS
2 cup grated Cabbage
500 ml Milk
200 gm Sugar
50 gm Crystallized sugar (michri)
5-6 Batasa
1-2 Peaces kalakanth
4 Cardimom
2 Bay leaves
Cashew nuts an raisin as much as you want

HOW TO MAKE
1. Grate the middle portion of cabbage. Boil water and add grated cabbage. keep it for a while. then, strain it.
2. Heat and add ghee. Fry cashew nuts and raisin. then, keep it for latter use.
3. Fry boiled grated cabbage. Add cardamom and bay leaves.
4. Add milk.
5. Add Sugar, Crystallized sugar (michri) and Batasa.
6. Add 1 Peaces kalakanth.
7. Boil it until it get thick.
